Cuisine is an integral part of any culture. Recipes are passed down in the way that stories are, from one generation to the next. They reflect the geography of the regional landscape. In a modern day supermarket culture people tend to forget the limitations of the past, the old reliance on available ingredients. Much of traditional Polish cuisine is defined by older traditions.
